Recently I had the privilege of doing a session for 5 day old Evan. She was such a sweet girl, and slept almost the entire time! Here are my favorites:

Parker, along with his Mommy and Daddy, met me at Bona Dea Trail during what photographers refer to as "the golden hour", for their Fall Session. I love, love, love the lighting in these images. He sure is a cutie pie! These were my favorites:

Meet Matt and Kerry! A lovely couple, that my husband and I are very good friends with. When we went up to Mt. Nebo to take Jetta's one year pictures, they decided to tag along. So of course I got a few shots of them too! These were my favorites:

Lydia, or Liddy, as I affectionately like to call her is a sweet, baby girl that just turned 6 months! I've been wanting to take her pictures since the day she was born, so when her momma asked me to take her 6 month pics- I was so excited! There are about a bazillion that I love, but these were my favorites:

This Friday and Saturday, October 23rd and 24th we are going to have Halloween Mini Sessions at the Russellville City Park. Your creative fee is only $25 (that's a 50% discount!) and you will receive a free 5x7. Since this is a minis session it will last about 20 minutes. You will still have several images to choose from in my password protected gallery to order prints.

Ok.... apparently I'm a very bad blogger / website updater. It's been waaay too long since my last post. So an attempt to get caught up to date with the sessions that I've had in the past couple of months, I'm going to post my favs from the session minus the nice little blurb I usually give about the people in the pictures. Once I get caught up, maybe I can go back and give you the story behind the faces....
For now, here are a few pictures of my two favorite people. We were at the Marina last weekend, getting ready to shoot the Morgan Family..... Anyway, here were a couple of my favs. I can't believe my baby is 9 months old.... *sigh* :)

This past Sunday was my first official Mother's Day. My husband Jason and I spent the day just hanging out and watching movies. I even took the day off from editing pictures, which has somehow seemed to overwhelm my free time as of late!
Since I have become a mommy my life has changed in a drastic way... never did I imagine that I could love something so much. Or... that I could be so tired Or... that I could help create something so beautiful. Jetta Grace, is now 6.5 months old, and she's the love of my life (right next to her Daddy, of course!)
I love being a mommy, and I love watching her grow and learn new things. She has gotten so big, so fast.. and I know that before I know it, we'll be chasing her down the hallway, wondering where the time went.
But for now, she's my sweet baby girl... and I'm so grateful to be her mommy!

I want to give a special thank you to her Daddy, for making my first Mother's Day special... and thanks to my Mom, for being an amazing Mom, and Grammy. Also, thanks to Jason's Mom for being an amazing Mother-in-law, and Nanna. I love you guys!

I would like to introduce to you my first furry friend session... his name is Mason- he is an French Mastiff, and he's just 8 weeks old. He belongs to my friends, Kristin, and Brandon. Kristin asked me to take some pictures, because she wanted to be able to remember how little he once was. I'm pretty sure Mason will one day be a massive puppy dog... But for now, he's a cute little pup, with the most beautiful eyes I think I've ever seen on a dog. These were my favorites-

When I first met Bri, my husband Jason introduced her as "his little sister".... So naturally we seemed to ease into a friendship pretty quickly. Bri is an amazing violinist and cellist. ( she actually played the prelude at our wedding. ) She's sweet as can be, and she actually has an agent with a real model agency!
When Bri asked me to do a session, so that she could update her portfolio, I was both honored and flattered. We did a session in the evening, and I love, love, love the lighting that we got from that time of day. Of course I took a bazillion pictures, but these were my favorites-

I'm so proud of Katie- she was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen! And I'm so happy that she's getting everything that she's ever wanted! Jared is an incredible guy, and a wonderful addition to our growing family. I love you both! Congratulations!!Posted by Amy Lowe at 6:44 AM 0 comments

I got a new camera earlier this week, and so i decided to test it out on my favorite subject- my baby Jetta Grace! She will be 5 months old in one week. I'm only going to post a few, and I know that I'm biased, but she's just so stinkin' cute!

Josie is an adorable little girl that just turned one! I had her and her momma Shandy come over one Sunday afternoon to get some pictures, and I think we got some pretty good ones. Even through the outfit changes, Josie was a trouper. And, she was soooo cute when she giggled! These were my favorites from that day:

Shandy's been super supportive of me setting up this business, and very encouraging throughout the process, thus far.... I'm really grateful for for the support that she's given me, and I'm grateful for her friendship. Josie has two big brothers and I'm really looking forward to getting all 3 of them together later this spring for another shoot!!

I needed to take some senior shots for my portfolio, and I asked my friend Rachel if she would model for me. She and I have gotten to be pretty close in the last few months, and I can tell you that she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Having said that, you could probably guess that it wasn't hard to get some good shots of her. These were my favorites:

A few weeks ago I followed my favorite set of triplets around at the Lake Dardanelle State Park. I had these kiddo's in my classroom at the daycare before I took my current job, and of course they were secretly my favorites out of all of the kids.... I asked their mom, Jessica, if I could get some practice in by taking their pics. I figured if I could handle taking pics of 3 two-year-olds... then I could probably handle more kiddo sessions. :) Even though it was almost impossible to get them all looking at the camera at the same time, and sitting still.... I think that I still got quite a few really good shots. These were some of my favorites-

I had such a good time, and their mom was so gracious for letting me take their pictures! I can't wait for this spring when we can get together again! :)
